Face Wash Swap

Someone once said, "Thou shalt always wash their face before bed".  And that someone was me.  Whether you wear makeup or not, your face is a part of the body armor that is your skin and therefore is collecting all kinds of grime as you go about your day - think smog, car pollution, dust from a construction site, pollen.  It's all out there floating about until you come along and walk right through it.  If you do nothing else to take care of your skin, be nice and give it a rinse at the end of the day.

Try:

Siam Seas Morning Delight - Lovely, oil-based formula that washes both makeup and dirt off (I had zero problems rubbing this into my eyes for makeup removal).  Note: this product has quite a strong smell.  I happen to LOVE it, but it may not be for everyone.

One Love Organics Easy Does It Foaming Cleanser - Affordable, light, and gentle.  This foaming wash can be used on your face, hair, and body making it an ideal all-in-one for travel.  I always have this in my shower for my morning face wash - it's so refreshing.

Use what you already have at home - Trader Joe's jojoba oil is a perfect makeup remover.  Jojoba oil most closely resembles the oil our own skin produces (sebum), so it absorbs beautifully and doesn't feel greasy.  If you can't stand the feeling of leaving the oil for extra moisture, then follow with a castile soap (Dr. Bronner's works perfectly) and water rinse.

So fresh and so clean.
